Sally, my nacho custom, gets her base hair (more hair will be added as separate pieces).
…patchwork custom is looking kinda creepy right now, but I feel confident that she’ll end up neat looking in the end. Getting her eyes in should definitely help.
(if she doesn’t kill me in the night first…)
I’m so in love with how sweet this girl is looking <3 She’s a gingerbread cookie custom. Her face isn’t quite done yet, I’m still tweaking it. I used 3D fabric paint because I wanted it to look like her features were put on with icing, I think it’s working out pretty well ^-^ (though I wish I had left a bit of space between her eyes and cheek blush)
Progress on Sundaena, my ice cream custom. Her head is not only super heavy, but unbalanced and super heavy… I make such great choices sometimes… -.-;
Working along on Magmarie, my volcano custom. I want it to look like her bangs are formed from pouring lava, but it doesn’t look quite right yet.
I don’t usually plan dolls around outfit ideas, but I plan to make a Monster High custom wearing a wedding dress. I really like wedding dresses, you can add so much lace and ruffles and just go so over the top with it. It’ll be on a sea monster doll. I originally thought a ghost made the most sense, but I want to do a white-ish dress, and I want it to stand out from the skin color (not that all ghosts have to be white or anything, but that’s really the only option for MH) (…though I suppose I could call my sea monster a ghost sea monster, who’s gonna stop me? I just don’t know how I’d really show it… I can’t really turn the sea monster limbs transparent without recasting them or something, and that’s beyond my skills… anyways, it is something to think about though… maybe there’s another way to make her look ghosty… hm…) (ANYWAYS…).
I’ve wanted to do a wedding custom for quite a while, ever since I saw this gooooooorgeous Cleo custom by RogueLively. I’m glad to finally get around to it. I plan to use this new pattern from DGRequiem, I think it will make an awesome wedding dress if I can sew it well enough :)
